For those who don’t know, H Street Skateboards were regarded as one of the most influential skateboarding companies throughout the 80’s and 90’s. H Street was started in 1986 by professional skateboarder Tony Mag and his brother Mike Ternasky. Due to a traffic car accident Mike Ternasky passed away and H Street was never the same. Tony Mag later went on to found Osiris Shoes. The original H Street team had 2 of today’s most recognised pros Mike Caroll and Danny Way. H Street were responsible for some of the best skateboarding videos to date. Unfortunately they are unknown to the majority of today’s skateboarders. If you haven’t already made sure you check out:

H Street – Lick
H Street – Hocus Pokus

I never thought I would be saying this but H Street Skateboards are back! The new team will be managed by Tony Mag from the original team! The team has not yet been confirmed but when we do find out you will be the first to know.

  1. Corey Said,

Mike Ternasky and the heavy hitters on the H-street team, such as Mike Carroll and Danny Way, quit (essentially left Tony Mag’s program) to form Plan B in 1991. Ternasky’s passing was after that and had nothing to do with H-Street’s downfall. Just thought I’d clear that up. Basically everyone relevant left and it was never the same… Good luck at getting relevant people in there to restart H-street, thats going to be the hard part for sure.
